With Elysion Pro, lasting results can be achieved in just a few sessions, suitable for all skin types.
What is Elysion Pro?
Elysion Pro is a new-generation professional diode laser hair removal device. Its operating principle is simple: the laser destroys the hair and its root.
How does it work?
The device targets the pigment of the hair follicle — melanin — with laser pulses, causing the follicle to be destroyed at high temperatures without damaging the skin. As a diode laser, it guarantees long-lasting hair removal, unlike IPL or flash lamp hair removal methods.
How many treatments are needed to achieve long-lasting results?
This depends on the skin type, as well as the quality and amount of hair. Typically, 6 to 10 sessions are needed to achieve optimal, long-lasting hair removal results. There is a 4 to 6 week interval between treatments.
Is the treatment painful?
The discomfort experienced during the treatments varies from person to person; a tingling or pinching sensation may be felt in certain areas.
How long do the results last?
Achieving lasting results requires clients to follow the rules and adhere to professional instructions throughout the treatment process. Laser hair removal is long-lasting, but not always permanent. Hair growth is significantly reduced, and any regrowth tends to be finer and lighter. Maintenance sessions may be needed once or twice a year.
What are the side effects of laser hair removal?
Side effects are mild and usually short-lived. Temporary redness, swelling, or a slight burning sensation may occur, which typically subsides within a few hours. In rare cases, blistering, hyperpigmentation, or hypopigmentation may also occur.
What preparations are required before the treatment?
Shave the treatment area at least 24–48 hours before the session so the laser can directly target the hair follicle. Avoid waxing, epilating, or plucking, as these remove the hair from the follicle and reduce the effectiveness of the laser treatment.
Are there any contraindications for laser hair removal?
Yes, laser hair removal is not recommended under certain conditions. For example, it should be avoided during pregnancy, if there is a fresh tattoo on the treatment area, in cases of active skin conditions (such as eczema or psoriasis), or if the individual has photosensitivity. In such cases, it is advised to postpone the treatment.
Is it allowed to sunbathe before or after laser hair removal?
It is not recommended to expose the treated area to direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks before and after the treatment, as this can increase the risk of burns and pigmentation issues. It is important to always use a high SPF sunscreen to protect the skin.
